As a Production Shift Leader, you are responsible for the daily operations during your shift. You ensure production lines run optimally, the team is deployed effectively, and targets are achieved. You start your shift with a short team briefing to discuss planning, key updates, and improvement points. Throughout the day, you monitor production progress, quality, and safety.
 
You play a central role in leading, coaching, and developing Line Leaders, Operators, and Production Workers. You identify bottlenecks, anticipate disruptions, and take corrective action when needed. You also collaborate closely with fellow Shift Leaders and supporting departments such as Technical Services, Planning, and Continuous Improvement. You actively participate in improvement projects and contribute ideas to further professionalise processes.
 
As a Production Shift Leader, you also ensure clear communication between the production floor and the office, both top-down and bottom-up. You take part in daily operational meetings, ensure accurate reporting of deviations, and contribute to achieving KPIs related to output, quality, and employee engagement. Together with your team, you create a safe, efficient, and positive work environment where quality always comes first.
